This is a beautiful vintage ceramic, limited edition Advertising Ashtray that features a colorful illustration of a WOOD DUCK

 by famed illustrator LOUIS RAYMER

Marked "Bernie Gerdts Representing Shedd Brown, Inc." below the eight color illustration on the bottom of the ash receiver.

 Back of ashtray features a paragraph concerning the ashtray 

and the illustration along with Shedd-Brown, Inc. Minneapolis, Minnesota information. 


Shedd-Brown was a printer of advertising calendars and manufactured/distributed other advertising specialities to order.

Large, glazed ceramic ashtray in white with gold trim around the upper outside edge and inner cigarette notch ring


Measures about 8 3/4" in diameter and sits about 7/8" high.


Manufacturer marked as shown above.

There is very little wear.
